I’m a student at New York University double majoring in journalism and psychology. I’ve lived in Austin most of my life, but now I am lucky to call New York City home. I was raised by divorced parents with (mostly) traditional Mexican values in this quite untraditional American society, so you can bet my therapist gets an earful. I wouldn’t go as far as saying I have a writing style, I just write what I experience (isn’t that what writing is about?) This is my first shot at publicly sharing my thoughts on being a multicultural girl in the 21st century, surviving multiple cities, and just trying to get out of bed every morning. Enjoy the attempt.
